  DO NOT BUY THE FLEXIBLE (BEST) PARTIALS POOR QUALITY. Made of a porous material that is rough and has a weird taste. After a few months they are no longer smooth and rub on my tongue. The temporary partial was much better and fit better as well. I live too far away to continue coming in for adjustments. It is more than an hour drive each way and I have made at least 4 trips already. A waste of almost $1000. One visit took 2 hours including the wait add a 2 hour plus drive and that is a full day ): >))):> I again drove to Lufkin yesterday. I was met by the office manager. She offered me immediately a $900.+ refund. I suggested one more try at adjusting. Today the top partial is even worse. I woke up with a vary rough and painful tongue.The good news is the lower is acceptable and I will only request a refund on the upper. The staff and dentist at this location are the BEST. I have never been to a better or more caring dental office. Keep up the GREAT work.

  I was very happy with the dental hygienist and dentist but it all went down hill after that. I was told to go be seated in the lobby and the receptionist would call me to go over what other procedures and cost I need. When called (which I was the last patient and there were no other patients waiting) I was rushed through and not given a itemized statement. They said I couldn't discuss appointments until my next procedure was paid in full (which was going to be close to 5,500.00.) I felt I should be shown a itemized statement and it gone over with me and my insurance be brought up and how much would be covered and what would be done. None of that was done. I told them I'd have to get someone else to go over this because I didn't really even know what needed to be done. I was then followed to the front door and it was locked and everyone went home. My husband had been in the foyer listening to the young receptionists about where they wanted to go drink a beer. I left crying because I just wanted someone to go over procedure and cost without being rude and if I had a question to please answer it politely, after all, I would be helping to pay their salary for the week. Left without the first piece of paperwork and no idea what exactly would be done for that 5,500.00. Totally confused with the front desk help but love the dentist and dental hygienist. Think I would liked the oral surgeon but need to know more about what was going to be done and how much for each procedure before paying. I didn't even get a invoice with what was performed on that day. Even if insurance pays I should sign something and receive a copy.

  Wait was entirely too long. Excuse given was, "We only have onex-ray machine." Aspen knew theyonly had one x-ray machine when they scheduled my appointment. The Dentist I saw was unintelligible. I could not understand a single word he said. I suggest Remedial English andelocution classes for him. This is Deep East Texas, USA, not the Dark Continent. He should be able to speak clearly and conciselely, not in heavily accented, broken English. The prices were exorbinant as well. I got the same Economy package dentures in Nacogdoches, a full set, for less than half of what Aspen wanted for a single plate. I won't even drive down Tulane anymore, just to keep from passing Aspen and reliving that experience.
